The feast of St. Joseph

Today the Catholic Church celebrates the feast of Saint Joseph, who was the husband and protector of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the guardian of Jesus Christ and the head of the Holy Family.

In our community this is also the day, when we express our respect and fraternal love towards the Pallottine Brothers, who help the priests and do many apostolic works in our Society; this is because St. Joseph is considered their Patron Saint. Moreover, today many of uor confreres celebrate their namesday, including the Vice-General Fr. Józef Lasak SAC and our seminary’s teacher of Latin and Ancient Greek, Fr. Józef Targosz SAC.

After a solemn Mass at noon our Rector, Fr. Mirosław Mejzner SAC, renewed our community’s consecration to St. Joseph before a statue of himself in the seminary’s courtyard.
